Handwriting
You can either complete one page from the handwriting book or write the following paragraph into your copy in joined writing.
Kind hearts are the gardens,
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the blossoms,
Kind deeds are the fruits;
Love is the sweet sunshine
That warms into life.

Gaeilge
Today, I would like you to watch Cúla 4 ar scoil on TG4. You may not understand everything they are saying but just listening to a little bit of Irish regularly can really help your vocabulary and listening skills.
If you have a tv, you can watch it there at 10 o'clock.
If you are using your laptop to watch it click on this link. Just scroll down a little and click on the most recent episode.
If you are using a phone/ipad/tablet, go to the app store and download Cúla4. When you click into the app, it will ask you Cén aois thú? (how old are you), cén dath is fearr leat? (what is your favourite colour) and cad is ainm duit? (what is your name). Click on 'Féach' and then you will be in :)
If you do download the app, there are lots of games and activities you could play with as well. You could watch Spongebob as Gaeilge :)

Continue reading your novel. During this time it would be great if you could do lots of reading.
If you would like a new book, there is a really good website called Oxford Owl with lots of audiobooks and ebooks. If you want to log on, go to the website and click on the pink tab that says “my class login”. The username is 4thscoilcholmcille and the password is SC2020

Titanic: Today I would like you to use the internet to research the passenger you were assigned yesterday. A lot of the passengers are quite famous so you should be able to find plenty of information.
Go to Kiddle.co and search from there or click on this link. If you type in your passenger's name and write 'titanic' after the name, lots of useful information should come up (scroll past the blue box with any ads). Fill out this information in your boarding pass and in the Titanic Passenger Research worksheet.
